A Shakespeare Monologue

ART IN TIMES OF CRISIS: A SHAKESPEARE MONOLOGUE

Such unbelievable times. As an artist I feel compelled, more than ever, to share beauty in this time of crisis where we're all confined to our homes. We formed an Artist's Collective and encouraged each other to send our art into the world, to hopefully brighten people's day, to inspire, to uplift. As art has done during World War II and other times of crisis in history.

Above you'll find a Shakespeare monologue of Romeo and Juliet, that I recorded this week, staying #TogetheratHome.

"Logic will lead you from point A to point B. Imagination will take you everywhere." - Albert Einstein

May art brighten your day, take you to new places through your imagination, and help you to process the drama you might feel, from everything that you absorb around you.

Let art be your release. Express thyself.

p.s. I heard Shakespeare wrote 'King Lear' during his quarantaine time of the plaque.

From Amsterdam, with love,
